Saudi Arabia FA President Yasser Al-Misehal has confessed that if Lionel Messi moves to Saudi Arabia it would complete the giant leap in football ecosystem initiated by Cristiano Ronaldo. As reported by goal.com, Saudi FA President has showed keen interest in roping in Messi to the middle-east.

“I have no news to be honest. There is not doubt that personally, I would like to see Messi in the Saudi Arabia league. It would complete the great leap that was made by Cristiano,” he said.

Saudi Arabia has been making heavy investment in football and if Messi follows the footsteps of Ronaldo, it will boost the middle-east’s credibility in the game of football.

Meanwhile, Messi recently appeared in the PSG’s promotional video for their 2022-23 kit and that fuelled speculations that he might remain at the French club for another season.
